Peaches & Cream

Ingredients:

Ripe peaches halved & pitted, 1/ person enjoying

4 tbsp butter 🐄

2 tbsp brown sugar

1 cup heavy whipping cream 🐄

2 tbsp powdered sugar

2 tsp vanilla

1 cup mascarpone cheese 🐄

Directions:

1. Slice your peaches in half & remove the pit, remove skin if desired. Add 2 tbsp of butter & 2 tbsp brown sugar to a pan on medium-high heat. Stir until butter is melted & sugar is combined.

2. Add your halved peaches to the pan, flesh side down, and allow to cook for about 5 minutes before flipping to the skin side, searing for another 5 minutes. Add the remaining 2 tbsp of butter to the pan before flipping flesh side down once more for a final sear. You want a golden sticky finish. Remove once done & set aside.

3. Combine the heavy cream, powdered sugar & vanilla to a stand mixer, and beat on medium-high speed until thickened, about 5 minutes. Add your mascarpone cheese & beat until combined, no lumps should be seen.
