Lemon Garlic Butter - Surf & Turf Kabobs
Easiest way to enjoy surf & turf during the week is kabob it & pat yourself on the back for an easy + delicious dinner!
For this dish I chose a top sirloin, but other types of steak will work too, just make sure you can cut it into 1.5” cubes for the kabobs.
I also recommend large or jumbo raw shrimp so you are left with a substantial amount of shrimp after cooking. Buy peeled for less prep time or you can easily take the shell off after cooking.
Ingredients:
1 lb steak — cut into 1.5” cubes (top sirloin or other grilling steaks)
1 lb large shrimp, raw
3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp steak seasoning
For the garlic butter:
6 tbsp salted butter, melted 🐄
1 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley
2 tbsp minced garlic
Zest of one lemon
1 Tsp dried Italian seasoning
1 Tsp black pepper
Directions:
1. In a small bowl, combine all garlic butter ingredients, set aside.
2. In a separate large bowl, toss your cubes steak in the Worcestershire sauce and steak seasoning until coated. Skewer steak and shrimp and cook on a preheated grill, about 10 minutes, or until steak has reached internal temperature of 165 degrees F.
3. When grilling, coat skewers in the garlic butter with a pastry brush, flipping every 3 minutes.
I love this with a baked potatoes and fresh side salad!
